When I first heard about Mayan Massage, I really wasn’t sure why I was interested in learning more. I think my body was crying out for it! It felt logical that a massage in my abdominal area and some attention there was just what I needed.
I signed up for the course! It was two and a half days and I did it last weekend. It was a self healing massage course, designed specifically for women who wanted to learn about their bodies and how Mayan Massage could help them. It was quite intense. We learnt everything about the history of Mayan Massage to how it was introduced into the western world. Initially, Mayan Massage was only known amongst the Mayan people in Belize, Central America. Luckily a wonderful woman by the name of Dr. Rosita Arvigo decided to share what she had discovered with the western world!
The course was held in London and run by two wonderful women: Hilary Lewin and Louise Crockart.
Please watch the video to get the full scoop on the benefits and what Mayan Massage is all about!
