It has been a long week for me. I decided to follow through with my Colonic and did a full liver flush on Thursday. I was dreading it – admit ably. I figured it was the best time to do it. I had cleaned out my bowels and the Gallstones could all find their way out….without any obstructions in the way!
So, what was it like? Was it worth it?
I’ll be honest. I am not sure I would do it again…in a hurry. I am still recuperating having done it 3days ago. I drank about a cup of olive oil with lemon juice. Funny but as I write this, I feel somewhat queezy! I did manage to drink it, eventhough some of it refused to stay down, I managed to get the desired effect the next morning. I managed to pop out about 20 Gallstones. I was very excited! It was a result for all my efforts!
That part seemed good and I really thought that would be the end of it all. You must appreciate that it had already been a long week. I was taking Oxy Mag, which basically encourages your bowel movements. This means you are super runny bum for that time. I then only drank liquids for 3 days. These consisted of smoothies, juices and soup. I did the Colonic on the Monday and then did two more days on this diet, along with the Oxy Mag and Liver Castor Oil Packs. On the Thursday, I didn’t drink anything but tea in the morning, to be ready for the liver flush. So, you can understand why….after all this I kinda wanted it to be over.
Thing is, it wasn’t. For the next day (being Friday) I had the most dreadful pain….well in my ass! Yes, my bum hole was burning like mad! I figured out…after reading on the internet that the lemon in my bowels was acidic and was burning my poor bum hole! Charming I know! 🙁 It was painful to go to the toilet but I also knew that I needed to get all the Gallstones out of my bowels. So, I persevered. Now, you gotta love the internet because it helped me find a great solution for this. I combined Coconut Oil and Aloe Vera Gel and put it in the fridge. Well, I won’t go into too much detail, other than to say….that it worked wonders!
The last two days, I have still been detoxing. Yesterday, I had the most dreadful headache and was stiff everywhere. Luckily, I have some Magnesium Spray to alleviate that one! Today, I have had this mild headache and light nausea….which basically means my liver is still detoxing stuff.
Okay, now that I have shared all the nasties about it….let me tell you the good side about it.
- I no longer have hayfever. I know it might be a little early to say but I went outside today while James was mowing the lawn and I didn’t sneeze once! Now, normally I am puffed up for days after he mows the lawn and there is no chance I could sit outside on my laptop writing at the same time!
- I have amazing energy and creativity. I have been having the most amazing dreams with much more clarity and I have so much more energy for things! I feel almost well….reborn. I know that sounds kinda corny but I really do!
- I feel “clean”. I feel like my body is ready to absorb anything I give it now!
- I feel focused and clearer in my mind
It is still early days, so I will be sure to post a video about my experience for you to see, both physically and verbally, the results of it all. I am looking forward to feeling toxin free and healthy!

After catching up with Sarah from my Colonic yesterday, I believe there might be an easier one to do. I will post that one up as soon as I get it from her. Here is the follow up video I did on the one I did, with relevant links. http://endoempowered.com/liverflush/
I would definitely heal your body first as the liver flush can be quite hard work. Look at just doing a Colonic first to get the colon working well – video coming out today on this one!
Hi Melissa, I don’t seem to find the link here, could you please send it again? thanks 🙂
I followed the one from Love your liver – the link at the bottom. I will type up the whole experience – in detail for you though…if you like 🙂
It’s a pleasure Mojdeh 🙂
Thanks so much for posting this, I hope you are feeling great from your flush 🙂 I too have been wanting to do a colonic/detox for some time but have been both afraid and overwhelmed by the amount of info (not sure what’s the best way to do this!) … Do have the detailed instructions?
Thanks again for your wonderful blog 🙂
Yeah I heard that too….thanks for sharing 🙂
I will do a video on it in the next few days and give you all the details. Good luck with it and let me know how you go 🙂
I think I would like to try a liver flush. Do you have any instructions or a link to any instructions?
For hayfever, you may want to try local honey. One teaspoon-full a day. I have gotten that from two sources.
I am happy to share the experience – even if it is a little embarrassing! I am so glad to hear my blog has helped you!
Thanks for doing these experiments and being so honest about the results. I, for one, appreciate you going there. We’re all in this together and sharing helps us feel less lonely and learn something at the same time!
Your website has been a great resource for me, it’s been a huge relief to know that others are out there, struggling with the same issues….basically what I’m saying (in a very long winded way!) is thanks for your blog and keep doin’ what you do 🙂
Hope you continue to feel amazing after your flush!
