nuggets of wisdom on reducing PAIN & SYmPTOMS naturally

The Amazing Benefits of Vitalzym/Exclzyme or Serrapeptase. You Gotta Watch This!

I wrote a blog a few months ago about Vitalzyme/Exclzyme. It has the ability to give you a clean start to healing. A new beginning and a possibility of preventing getting a laparoscopy every year and a half—this was my treatment for Endometriosis!

Check out my video on my thoughts and what you can expect, if you give it a go!

The main ingredient that we are after is called Serrapeptase and I managed to find a few companies that stocked Serrapeptase. This one is very reliable and more affordable than many of the others I found on the market.

The important thing to note about all of this is that both Exclzyme and Vitalzym are merely brand names, with other ingredients added to help our healing. The main ingredient we want is Serrapeptase!

This is honestly my TOP recommendation for women with Endometriosis.

Serrapeptase

Serra Enzyme™ tablets and capsules are enteric coated and are taken on an empty stomach to ensure that they are activated in the small intestine, rather than in the stomach. There are no known side effects or interactions with any prescription drugs or other supplements.

Containing 80,000IUs of natural Serrapeptase, known as ‘The Miracle Enzyme’, Serra Enzyme™ is formulated to give maximum benefit in the minimum time. – from their website

This is truly an amazing product for Endometriosis. I know I recommend a heap of supplements on my blog but this is seriously one that I couldn’t recommend more! The results have been dramatic and in a short time! I have raved about this product to so many people!

Please don’t think this will cure Endometriosis, though it is easy to think that it would be. Endometriosis does grow back and we still need to get the hormone imbalance back in balance.

It will certainly help with scarring, adhesions, clots and cysts. All you can do is try it for 3 months and see what it does for you.

Make sure you take them 1hour before meals.

About Ghu Zhi Fu Ling Wan – the product I recommend in the video to use in combination with Serrapeptase

This is made up of what the Chinese describe as “warming” herbs. I researched all of the ingredients separately and they all indicate a warming result on the body. The exact ingredients are: Ramulus Cinnamoni Cassiae, Sclerotium Poriae Cocos, Radis Paeoniae, Cortex Moutan Radicis and Semen Persicae.  Feel free to explore them all yourselves too.

A test was conducted to prove its effectiveness. What they discovered was that women with Endometriosis naturally have a higher level of Immnoglubulin M (essentially our over-active immune systems). They took a group of women, divided them in two and then gave one group Lupron and one group Ghu Zhi Fu Ling Wan. The group on Lupron only experienced a lowering of the hormone estradiol but did not lower the Immunoglubulin M. The group on Ghu Zhi Fu Ling Wan had no change in the estradiol levels but the levels of Immunoglobulin M were massively decreased and their symptoms were dramatically reduced.

It flushes out the blockage in our abdominal cavity. The Chinese call this blood stasis.

Note: Always start off on a lower dosage with new supplements and gradually increase, allowing your body to adjust and absorb them.

Let me know your thougths, your experiences. If you have been using any of the Serrapeptase products, please feel free to share to encourage other women to try them.

It could help someone out there!

Hugs, Melissa x

  2. marleen

    Hello Melissa,

I can only find 80.000 IU here in spain,
how much is better to start with and then bringing it up to
how much? Hope you can help me thankxx

  3. Aamilah

Hi can you take serrapeptase and wobenzyme whilst your ovulation?

  4. Melissa

    Hi Swati,

1.Yes, you can use it with Dienogest.
2.There are a couple of reasons doctors might not recommend them. Firstly, they don’t get paid to recommend them – they get kick-backs for recommending hormone treatments. Secondly, they may not know about them. Thirdly, if you are seeing a surgeon, they are going to recommend surgery – that is what they do for a living 🙂

There is no harm in taking them. This is a completely natural product Swati 🙂

  5. Melissa

    Yes 🙂

  6. Britt

Is it safe during pregnancy or nursing?

    Hello Melissa,

I am having a large uterine fibroid (Subserous). My Gynaec prescribed Endoheal (Dienogest) to shrink it a little before I can go for a Laparoscopy. I came across vitalzym / exclzyme while browsing online about natural cures for fibroids. I have 2 questions :
    1. Can I use these supplements along with Endoheal?
    2. If these supplements are so effective, why are they not prescribed by most Doctors and why do they ask people to go for a laparoscopy?

I just want to be sure before I think of taking them.

    Thanks

Could you let me know if taking serrapeptase during your period will cause a heavier bleed? I was told not to take vitamin E during my period as it causes heavy bleeding on account of it being a blood thinner, Is Serrapeptase a blood thinner too? and will it cause a heavy bleed during my period? Also could you tell me if its normal to have spotting while taking serrapeptase while on the birth control pill? Many thanks!:)

  9. Melissa

    Yes, it is fine 🙂

  10. Rebecca

Is the product okay to take whilst on your period? And if your on the pill to help with endometriosis???

  11. Melissa

I have heard good things about Nattokinase but haven’t personally used it.It does thin the blood which could be considered a good or bad thing, depending on how your cycle is. I might need to try it to give an honest review of it. Maybe you could and let me know?

  12. Melanie

    Hello,
I was wondering what your thoughts were on Nattokinase? Or DIM? I have tried the product Endovan (main ingredient is Nattokinase) and it is quite on the expensive side. I was on it for almost 3 months and then had to stop taking it because of an eye surgery I had. I noticed a pretty big difference the next period I got once I had stopped taking it. I wasn’t sure if it was helping till I stopped. I wanted to possibly try Serrapeptase and saw that they make something called Natto- Serra which has both Nattokinase and Serrapeptase combined. Let me know what your thoughts are.
    Thanks

  13. Melissa

That is wonderful and so happy I could help! I started with a lower dose of 2 per day and moved up according to the one I bought.

  14. Martina

    Hi Melissa,
thank you so much for all the wonderful work that you put into these pages. I have no idea what I would have done without finding you! Actually, I’d probably freak out about my diagnosis:). Instead I’m ready to make a lot of changes. I’m already on the right track with my diet and lifestyle and now I’m ready to add some supplements too. I was wondering, what dose of Serrapeptase do you recommend taking daily?
Thanks so much and have a great day!

  15. Melissa

    Hi Amy,

I struggled to get it in Australia too and landed up just ordering from the US. Here is a link for you on what I found on Google: http://www.activeherb.com/guizhi/
A TCM practitioner would certainly have them.
Well done on finding the cancer and being cancer free! I am sure you will find a lovely fella 😉

  16. Amy

    Hi Melissa,

Your website has been very helpful in pointing me in the direction of research and more natural medications.

I’ve just ordered some Serrapeptase. I think the 250,000 but unsure how much I should take to start with.

I’m in Australia and can’t find a site for the Ghu zhu Fu Ling wan. Would you know where I could get it from? I clicked on the NZ link you’ve put up but it’s not there.

Would a TCM practitioner have any? I looked into going to a couple but it is just soooooo expensive.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ve got 3 months to try and shrink an ovarian cyst before they are scheduling an operation.

I also had a rare form of ovarian cancer that they think has links to endometriosis. I was super lucky as they caught it with a routine laparoscopy. I only have one ovary left. I’m 39 in December and hope one day I might be able to have my own child (once I’ve found a half decent fella!). I’m presuming the serrapeptase and Ghu zhu fu ling wan will be ok for that. I’m cancer free for almost 2 years now. Just wanna preserve my depleting fertility.

    Thank you

    Amy X

  17. Melissa

You can take it ongoing if you need to but most of the time you should feel better after 6months of taking it 🙂

  18. Alyssa

Hello! I have a question as to how long you take the serrapeptase. Do you take them for a few months and stop, or is it something that you take ongoing?

    Thanks!

  19. Claudia

    Hi Melissa!
I’ve just found your website with very interesting informative posts! What I’d like to know you wrote your top recommendation is SerraEnzyme which can be bought in U.K. I’m living in Europe but travel to U.S. 3x a year. But I’ve also read quite often that vitalzym helped you a lot. Have you tried both and if so which one was more effective for you. I’m wondering as I’ve started taking vitalzym for a few weeks now but I haven’t noticed that much of a difference yet. Therefore I am asking about the Serra Enzyme?
And my other question what do you think of taking bioidentical progesterone? I’ve read Dr.Lee’s book and he is recommending it when being estrogen dominant what I am and having endometriosis.
From what I’ve found so much here it seems like you tend more to taking Maca. Am I correct?

  20. Melissa

It could be. They are incredibly effective. Maybe slow down on the dose though. Build up to the recommended dosage.

  21. Amanda

Hi Melissa, I just started taking these about a week ago and have been bleeding off and on was wandering if that is because it’s cleaning out of me or no?

  22. Melissa

Yes, I would highly recommend it for fybroids aswell 🙂

  23. Simone

    Hi Melissa,

I get your newsletters and came across this article from another article and was wondering if this would be useful for women with fibroids too?

  24. Maja

Hi, I have a question about taking Serrapeptase: is it ok/safe to take it during you are detoxing yourself of heavy metals (with chlorella and clay)? I am planning on taking S. for 3 months and am also planning a detox with chlorella+clay, followed by wild garlic and coriander tinctures. Thank you so so much for your advice!

  25. Melissa

Thanks Melanie. That is fantastic! Great find!

  26. melanie

    Hi

I live in the UK and contacted AST Enzymes to see if they ship to the UK, they advised me that we can buy the same Exclzyme at the following website:

    http://www.aggressivehealthshop.com/

They cost £80 and you don’t have to pay the $44 shipping fee!

  27. Melissa

    Hi Jenni,
I did and it seemed to work well together. See how you feel 🙂

  28. Jenni

    Hi Mel

I’m planning to try “Ghu Zhi Fu Ling Wan” as I’ve always been a strong believer of traditional chinese herbal medicine. Should I take Vitalzym or Serrapeptase with it?

  29. Melissa

    Hi Kris,
That is very interesting. I haven’t heard any kind of reports like this from the girls but it is good to share possible experiences. I hope your wife found relief in some other forms…. you are wonderful to research and share for her 🙂

  30. kris

My wife started Vitalzym with 2 per day but she felt severe pain after 3 hours. I don’t know why it happens though many endo-women got good results. One clue was found from this website
    http://www.adhesions.org/forums/ADHESIONS.0708/0010.html
Now, she stopped it. I was disappointed.

  31. Melissa

There is no need to take them during your period but it won’t harm you to take them during that time either. Most important is to take the chinese medicine before your period and the vitalzym after 🙂

  32. kate

Hi mel, can you tell me if you should take both of these products during your period? the vitalzym and the chinese med? thanks

  33. Melissa

    Hi Christine!
    Welcome to my blog 🙂
I started with 2 per day at about 11am each day and combined that with the Ghu Zhi Fu Ling Wan. I am slowly increasing it but found just on the two a day, it was working already.
It is brilliant at giving you that head start to clear the old stuff out. Hopefully, you can avoid the lap 🙂
    Hugs back

    Mel

It has been for me. Thing is, a supplement is not enough to heal you – sorry sweets. You need to get to the source of the problem, which is the liver. This requires more detoxing and herbs for the liver. Serrapeptase will only clean up the old cells – once they are gone, new ones will keep coming up. Try a good detox program for a week or 3 days. I did a juice fast and a liver flush and was amazed at how much rubbish was in my body. Look up detox and see what you find 🙂

  35. Molly

Is the Serrapeptase still working? I feel like I get excited about new ideas and think/ hope they are working for a few months and then I am back to square one!
PS thanks for doing this site!!!!!!!

  36. Mary

Will these supplements help the PAIN?? The pain is my biggest sympton!

  37. Melissa

    Thanks for sharing Ara!

Hi Demetria and Melissa. Since I found an enzyme that works for me 4 years ago it is also at the top of my list every time I travel. I take Fibrovan (6 caps) with or without foods but I read that most women need only 4 caps. a day.
I’m also trying Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan and is helping with my hot flashes.
    Cheers!

  39. Melissa

    Hi Demetria,
I take Cod Liver Oil each day – can’t get Krill oil that easily here 🙂
I take heaps of superfoods and herbs, so no need to take multi vitamins 🙂
I have done an article on Fibrovan and wasn’t that sure about it but I got a comment today from a girl who raved about it. So, might look into it again. Thanks for your comment and hope your healing is going well. http://endoempowered.com/5-reasons-why-i-am-hesitant-to-try-fibrovan-or-endovan-what-are-your-thoughts/

  40. Demetria

Hi Mel. thanks for your sug.jst wanted to know are you still taking multi vitamins, krill oil. and also have you heard of fibrovan and your on if it is effective?

Thanks Mel, and I checked out your diet suggestions. I’m gonna limit my diet more. Dairy and I don’t get along anyway.
