My Personal Experience with Vitalzym – Is It Really That Good?

I have been on Vitalzym for a week and I would have to say that I wasn’t expecting such an instant reaction. I have tried a number of natural health products and none of them gave me such an overnight reaction.

Check out the video to find out more:

I found a website which actually explains the expected results and reactions we should expect when we go on Vitalzym. It is quite good because we then know that the symptoms are not new ones but rather a reaction from detoxing. Check out: http://www.energeticnutrition.com/vitalzym/dosage.html

So far my experience has included:

  • Better but frequent digestion,
  • Skin breaking out a little (just a few spots),
  • flu-like symptoms (I thought it was hay fever until I read this list), and
  • I have noticed that the phlegmy feeling has subsided (a sign of candida).
Have you tried Vitalzym yet? What are your experiences?
Would you like to know more about Vitalzym? Check out this article I did a few weeks ago. I will keep you posted on how I go with it—still got three months to go!
Any questions? Please feel free to ask me—happy to share 🙂
Update: I found a more affordable option for to get Serrapeptase which is the main ingredient in Exclzyme and Vitalzyme. You can get it here, for much cheaper than anywhere else!

That is amazing and wonderful to hear your story!

I am 58 years old, and back in Feb 2015 I was diagnosed with a 12 cm (about 4.72 inches)wide fibroid in my uterus. I searched and searched because the doctored told me, that I was going to have to have a hysterectomy. Fast forward to 2022, I have never had a hysterectomy. At the time, in 2015, I was hemorrhaging quite a bit and needed to get a blood transfusion, and they basically told me I was “The Walking Dead.” But I was determined that my body it was going to be able to heal itself, And that is exactly what it did. After doing much research, I came across a vitalyzm and it the very best product I would ever recommend especially for fibroids! After 3 to 4 months I went back to have a ultrasound, and there was no sight of a fibroid. Now let me just say I was taking about 12 -15 pills a day. I know some people think that’s expensive, but one you avoid a hysterectomy and all of the complications that can go with it, it was worth my weight in gold. What did I do besides this? I cut out all coffee, because that can increase the estrogen in the body, and I did macaroot powder to balance my hormones. I put that in a smoothie each day. I also took a cellular supplement, that I have been on for 10 years now which also helps to detect, repair and replace cells in the body . But beyond that, I just have to say that I believe that vitalyzm extra strength was “my last hope” and it worked!!! I remember the doctor saying you look like you’re about six months pregnant, but that’s OK, I stopped them from putting me under the knife! I kept my organs, and here it is almost 7 years later!! I am so grateful for this product!

    Hi Diane,

I would be very interested to know what you ate that made the fibroid appear. That is particularly scary but at least you know what to do. I found vitalzym to be incredibly helpful to me at the time but don’t take it anymore but will look at doing an update for us as many women are still using it and having loads of benefits from it.

My husband and I were at a health food store years ago and thry recommended it for his back pain. We didn’t have any detox symptoms but we were in pretty good health. We can’t remember the outcome of his back pain results using it. But we thought it was super funny it makes parts of the body super sensitive to the touch. I have a small fibroid and dense chest so my natural Dr prescribed me these I we will be trying them again ten years later. I sure hope they don’t make me sick. I can handle detox but stomach pains? Ewe. Maybe the formula has changed

  6. Diane

I know I am years later since this article was published… but I’m going to comment anyway. 🙂
Thank you for sharing about Vitalzyme and your edit about Serrapeptase. I have had a fibroid since I was about 50… I’m 62 now. Over time is shrunk… diet, some alternative “energy” remedies, and progesterone cream reduced it to barely noticeable. Recently I went on a special diet for hypothyroidism and though it’s supposed to be especially good for reducing the estrogen in the body, it had the opposite effect on me. This morning I realized that the fibroid had grown so large that it was creating difficult with my intestines and was uncomfortable sitting. So I started researching… and almost put money down for Vitalzyme until I read your article. I did a little more research and decided to see if I could find some Serrapeptase at my health food store. I found a product with 100,000 IU and a couple more enzymes. I’m going to try it and hope for the best. And I’m ditching that diet and going back to how I think I ought to eat… which is how I reduced the fibroid in the first place. Thank you so much!

p.s. Do you have other/more recent articles on the topic?

Hi Salima, I have read your msg. Am too in Uganda and started on vitalzym,DIM and magnesium citrate for weeks now. I have 16cm fibroids the last time I checked. What has been your experience in regards to using vitalzym? Any progress in the struggle so far ? Rgds Cathy.

  8. Jane

I know this is an old thread but, vitalizym made me terribly sick to my stomach. I decided to take one a day as against three, same thing.

  9. Salima

i think probably because many GYN’s i have come across usually are not too enthusiastic about fibroids. And the big surgical procedure fetch way more.
But really not many doctors like to venture into alternative treatments.
Just started dosing on vitalzym extra strength now a month, I must say i feel lighter had a 3cm fibroid that was giving me menometrorrhagia for 2 weeks with clots as big as my palm and terible terrible cramps every time my periods showed but with the change now am happy i spent nights surfing the web after the GYN suggested surgery. which i strongly objected to being a fun of “Truth about cancer” where i learnt alot and seen a friend survive cancer without the big 3 treatments.
And believe me its even harder getting the right alternative treatments and supplements back here in Uganda.
My 1st purchase, took a month to get here but having made a double dose purchase am glad its working and my money was well spent.
I bought my Vitalzym extra strength, calcium dglucate, DIMPro, pure essence lab one ‘n’ only whole food multiple, zinc monomethionine, magnesium citrate and Vitamin B50 complex from http://www.energetnutrition.com.

  10. Swati

    Hi Melissa,

You have written a very good article. I just had 2 questions for you:
    1. If vitalzym / DIM supplements are so good for endo / fibroids, why are they not prescribed by modern medicine doctors?
    2. I was diagnosed with a large (12 cms) subserosal fibroid. Do you suggest that I follow the same plan as that for Endo for my problem as well? What additional supplements should I take so that I am able to get rid (or atleast shrink my fibroid) naturally?
I came across a number of testimonials about various natural treatments / supplements for fibroids on various websites. But I still want to be sure that these are not marketing gimmicks by those stores.
I really liked your plan. I want to and would like to believe that it would work for me. I would really appreciate it if you could respond to my query.

Furthermore, I would be coming to Auckland soon. Would love to meet you if something can be worked out. Could you please share your contact details and address.

Vitalzym might help with any scarring you may have gotten from the C-Section and the scarring on your Pancreas, but my advice is to focus on reducing the level of estrogen in your body. That is the reason for the thicker uterine lining. You can do this with diet quite easily and focusing on rebalancing your liver and digestive health.

  12. Lisa

Oh one more thing- I scar in general very heavily. Thank you , Lisa

  13. Lisa

I have scarring on my pancreas and wondering if this is a better option or MSM would be. I have never taken either. Which do you think is better- or both. I also have started the grapeseed and vitamin c and a probotic. I have never really taken vitamins (aside from a multi) so I feel like this is a lot. My gyno also mentioned my uterus was thickening or something strange like that (she said it is common in women who have had c sections.) Thank you for any help I can get–

  14. Melissa

It can help for sure Lisa 🙂 but yoga is even better 🙂

  15. lisa

I was wondering if it will heal scar tissue in the uterus.

  16. Melissa

    Hi Tristin,
You can get the Exclzyme which is the one I got in the end 🙂 It will definitely help but naturally diet and lifestyle also play their part 🙂

  17. TT

Thanks for sharing your story Melissa.
You mention that you stopped the Vitalzyme (because the formula was changed). Is the new formula still effective for fibroid treatment? If not, can you recommend something else?
    Thanks.

  18. Melissa

It is fabulous and I really recommend it 🙂

  19. Tameka

    Hi Melissa,
Thank you for sharing your experience. I currently have fibroids and am considering taking Vitalyzm or Exclzyme to help shrink them before having a myeomectomy this spring. What has been your experience with Exclzyme?
    Thanks!
    Tameka

  20. Melissa

I think the key ingredient is Serrapeptase. You can review all the individual product ingredients and way up which ones might be more beneficial for you. Yes! Vitalzym is fantastic!

  21. Susan

I had been wondering about the real-world benefits of Vitalzym and other enzyme products. Good to hear your personal review. Is Exclzyme something you’re still taking and see benefits? Did you happen to evaluate the SerraEnzyme product with only the Serrapeptase?

  22. Melissa

It can certainly help with cysts but you need to also follow a good diet and make some lifestyle changes to really get the true benefits. It won’t have any side-effects on your ovary and will just help get rid of adhesions. Bug hugs and hope it works for you 🙂

  23. Rachel

    Hi Melissa,

Thanks so much for all your tips. I’ve been diagnosed with an endometrioma on my right ovary. Am desperate to avoid surgery because there is also a worry about my ovarian reserve and I don’t want an operation to cause further damage. I’d love to give serrapeptase a go if it could help. Is it known to work on endo cysts and naturally shrink them? Can it have an effect inside the ovary or does it just get rid if adhesions in the abdomen?

    Rachel

  24. Melissa

    Hi Belinda,
Well sometimes things don’t seem important until we are ready 🙂 I find it amazing how much information has been infront of me for years and I am only now taking it seriously 🙂
I doubt it matters but it probably makes sense to take it a week before your period 🙂

  25. Belinda

Hi Melissa, I was listening to a recorded health discussion today that mentioned Vitalzym and I thought… where have I heard of that before? Did a search on your blog and TA-DA!!

I am really excited about trying Serrapeptase to get relief from my PCOS/Endo symptoms, why didn’t I pay attention to your blog post sooner?!

I do have a question for you… at what stage of your cycle did you start taking Vitalzym? Does it really matter?

  26. Melissa

    Hi Mechelle,
That should be fine 🙂 MSM is more for the liver and Vitalzym is a general helping enzyme which also helps with digestion and endo.
Well done for getting back on track 🙂

  27. Mechelle Bradbury

    Hi Melissa!
Okay, now that I’m getting my diet under control… well, after Mother’s Day I have to, um, get back ON my diet, sheesh! (I kinda had a bad week…) 🙂 Anyway, I’m ready to start trying new things to improve my health. I picked up some MSM and am looking to order Vitalzym. Can I take them both at the same time, or is it one or the other at any given time.

    Thanks,
    Mechelle 🙂

  28. Melissa

Thanks Jneen for the tip! I have only been on it for about 3months now and they are slowly running out so it is great that you remind me to order some more 🙂

  29. Jneen

Hey Melissa, How has your experience been with Vitalzym? It was certainly the thing that turned my life around. I suffered and struggled with endo for over 15 years and about 10 years ago a friend of mine who was into herbs and such sent me some information on Vitalzym. So after a little research I decided that it certainly couldn’t hurt and even if it didn’t help my endo it would surely be useful for other issues. Of course I didn’t truly have much faith but much to my surprise however, it made the biggest difference in my endo than anything I had tried before. In fact, I’m pleased to say that after going through 2 large bottles of Vitalzym, 10 years ago my symptoms are easily manageable today. I highly recommend it for women with endometriosis. I sure hope you have had positive results as well.

    Hi Laurie,
I am taking a liver cleanser, usually just Dandelion Root and drink the tea too – just to help flush out the toxins. I still take some superfoods (when I remember) like Spirulina and Aloe Vera Juice. I have been slowing down on the Maca a little because I want to measure Vitalzyms true effects with Ghu Zi Fu Ling Wan. Also, I read that some chinese medicine doesn’t combine well with Maca. It was quite the transformation.

  31. Melissa

I have heard that too. I actually bought a similar product called Exclzyme. It contains the Serrapeptase and it is slightly less expensive than Vitalzym. It is really the Serrapeptase we are after but I reckon Wobenzyme would still do wonders for Endo. I heard of a girl who went on that for 6months and hasn’t had endo symptoms since.
Glad you found Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan. Chinese medicine is fabulous!

  32. Laurie

I’m glad it is working for you! Is that all you are currently taking, the Vitalzym and the Chinese Medicine you showed? Or are you still taking other supplements too?

  33. Heidi

    Hi Melissa,

My OBGYN suggested this product because they sell it. When I first started it I noticed a big difference. Although i did have the detox symptoms too, my pain seemed a lot less all over. A was on it for about 6 months. It didn’t seem to be that great after the 1st pack. The formual changed and I don’t know if that had anything to do with it or not. I ended up getting Wobenzyme to try and it helped with pain and was much less expensive so haven’t gone back to Vitalzyme. I know Vitalzyme is suppose to do more for endo though. Thanks to you, my favorite thing is Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan. I would like to find a chinese doctor.
