Do These 5 Things to Reduce Cellulite, Ingrown Hairs and Reduce Endometriosis Pain

The body is amazing really. We have this system that is designed to flush out excess water, toxins and create movement throughout the body. It is called the lymphatic system. When we stimulate this system correctly, it has amazing healing powers and will restore our natural beautiful skin, getting rid of cellulite, ingrown hairs and of course reducing our endometriosis pain.

Here is how we stimulate the lymphatic system easily:

1. The Castor Oil Pack

Castor oil contains 90% ricinoleic acid, which stimulates our lymph glands. This encourages their movement and therefore aids in getting rid of the excess toxins. It is these toxins that are indirectly responsible for our endometriosis pain. I have seen photos of women who have put a castor oil pack on their abdomen, with a swollen tummy, which seriously looks like they are pregnant and it is completely down within 1 hr!

Discover how to do a castor oil pack here.

2. Dry Brushing Technique

This technique has been used for centuries! It will diminish your ingrown hairs, lipomas and will also make you look younger! It is super easy and you can make it part of your daily routine—just like you brush your teeth, you can brush your body!

3. Exercise

It doesn’t really make a difference what kind of exercise you do, just create some movement! Go for a walk, do some yoga or dance around the living room! It creates natural movement for the lymphatic system and allows you to expel toxins through your skin too!

4. Lymphatic Drainage

Essentially, lymphatic drainage is a type of massage which focuses on the lymph nodes, which are situated throughout the body. It is amazingly effective and you can even do this on yourself.

5. Natural Herbs

There are heaps of herbs that can encourage lymphatic flow in the body. It is important to note that your body will need to excrete the toxins from the body, so it is important to implement the other methods used above and ensure you have a good elimination system in place—in other words your bowels are moving stuff out well!

These are some herbs to explore. Their healing properties are amazing!

  • Plantain
  • Sweet Root (Calamus Root or Sweet Flag)
  • Chicory
  • Pau D’Arco Tea (Lapacho, Pau d’arco, Taheebo, Ipe roxo, Tecoma)
  • Una De Gato (Cat’s Claw)

I will be exploring these herbs in more detail for us over the next few months, but seriously… they are amazing!

So, it is well within reach to get some movement going in our bodies and reduce the toxic load, thereby reducing the endometriosis pain. Give one a try, try them all and see how you feel!

I have always found it difficult to find some herbs listed that will help endo. I’ve checked the local health food store, drug stores, gnc, etc.

Hi Melissa, you and your readers might also find the T-Tapp exercise method interesting – it emphasizes lymphatic movement/drainage and is great for any of us with hormonal balance issues. You can also do it anywhere/anytime. It has helped me a lot. Just google T-Tapp for more info. As always, your blog is great – can’t wait to hear more about how you do the endo diet. Keep it up!
