nuggets of wisdom on reducing PAIN & SYmPTOMS naturally

without the risk of surgery or nasty hormone treatments

Do you often feel unsatisfied or like your haven’t achieved enough with your life?

I’ll be honest with you, I have felt this quite often in my life. I often feel like there has to be more, there must be something bigger that I should be doing. Like I am missing something….like the answers are right in front of me and yet somehow I am just not seeing them. It makes me feel so agitated and annoyed with myself. I feel so deeply miserable when I get like this. It is horrible. It is a combination of frustration and impatience for anything to ever change. No matter how many goals I set, they seem somehow far away.

It can often come out of nowhere. Usually, I see someone who has so much more in their life and I envy what they have, I long to have their freedom, their money or their strength. It makes me just reflect so much on my own life and the choices I have made.

Now, I have developed a technique for getting out of this nasty place. I focus on the present, the right now and I really delve into all the things I have, that I should be grateful for. It is easy to forget how lucky we are sometimes and I make a point of reminding myself of these things as often as possible, so I don’t reach the deepest realms of these feelings.

Well, you might be wondering why I am sharing this. Thing is, it seems to be a personality trait we can directly link to what the Ayurvedic medicine practitioners refer to as Vata Types. And according to them Vata Types are more likely to suffer from fertility problems than any other Dosha (personality type). According to Ayurvedic medicine, we are naturally outgoing, friendly people. We are also more likely to loose interest in something over the long term, we love change and irregularity, or lack of routine. We are fabulous to be around when we are in balance with what we are doing but when we aren’t we generally struggle to stay in what we perceive as a “stuck” location.

You and I might have so much in common and we can share so much more than just Endo pain!

If you want to find out what Dosha type you are, check out this free Ayurvedic test.

Perhaps in a way this gives us an explanation as to why we feel like this in our lives and somehow makes it justified to go there at times. It is ultimately an imbalance that we are dealing with and yes, it begins with what is going on in our heads!

I guess I just wanted to know if you too have felt this way or are perhaps feeling this way at the moment – just so we can share the feeling 🙂

I know I will find a way out of this current state of mind but for now, it is nice to know I can blame it on something which is written in a book!

One suggestion is to change your career path and explore something more creative…..hmmmmm

Yeah it is cool to have ones personality recognised and appreciated as normal 🙂 Glad we share the same things! So much in common without even meeting eachother 🙂

Wow I just did the test from the link you put up and I am definitely a Vata person. All of the characteristics of unbalance really resonate with me, it is kind of a relief to know that other people feel this way too! I do love to make myself stop and appreciate what I am blessed with, it’s a good reminder 🙂

Thank you Georgiana. I was wondering whether I should publish that one 🙂 Glad someone else is feeling the same way 🙂

Wow…. this is really interesting! Vata type for me, and the Vata imbalance checklist pretty much sums me up! Now to check out the recommendations for this. Thanks for posting!

I totally feel this way! You write so that the rest of us recognize ourselves exactly – it’s amazing. What a gift! Knowing that others also feel this way too and that it therefore is normal, makes it easier to cope. When these feelings come over me, I try to read or remember a passage of Thich Nhat Hahn’s book “Anger” where you acknowledge all feelings that come to you and smile at them.
