Do You Get Dizzy Easily? Suffer from Sinus? Water Retention? And Endometriosis?

Do You Get Dizzy Easily? Suffer from Sinus? Water Retention? And Endometriosis?

I was listening to this awesome audio program today about fungus. I know it is not exactly an appealing topic but the story of Carly really opened up my mind on how powerful these nasty critters are and how they could affect our health, our fertility and potentially could be related to endometriosis.

Carly suffered four years from having absolutely NO period! She went down every path she could find and still did not find any answers! She tried acupuncture, homeopathy and even emotional healing and NOTHING worked! She had the best diet and still could not beat her permanent feeling of being unwell! It was only when she made the connection that the home she was living in was loaded, seriously LOADED with mould and fungus that she eventually made the connection.

Many of us may be suffering from a fungus overgrowth in our body without even realizing it! Fungus overgrowth is not just candida but could be all sorts of different fungi or parasites, just living inside of us! Scary thought!

This is a REALLY awesome audio – please listen!

The overall symptoms are a feeling of having “damp” in the body. This is the traditional Chinese medicine explanation of it but it does explain it well. We might have these symptoms:

  • Sinus or congestion in your nose/throat
  • Water retention
  • Difficulty losing weight and gaining heaps of weight
  • Dizziness and cloggy head feeling
  • Endocrine system can be affected (thyroid, hormones)
  • Digestive system is wet and damp (soft stools)
  • Gas/bloating

I know I had these issues prior to changing my diet and have noticed a massive improvement in my health.

Here is what I cut out:

  • Sugar
  • Wheat
  • Processed foods

Here is what we can add:

  • Pau d’ Arco Tea
  • Cinnamon
  • Frankinsense
  • Barberry
  • Natural probiotics through food and supplements (Sauerkraut)
  • Garlic
  • Goldenseal
  • Olive leaf extract
  • Peppermint
Here are Carly’s suggestions for what to incorporate from a food perspective:

The best thing I did was get a colonic and flushed out everything! I no longer have digestive issues or any of the symptoms I used to have!

Do you suffer from these symptoms? Have you considered they might be fungal? Candida? What if you just don’t realize you have them living with you in your home!?

  1. Hi, Mel,

I realize that this is an older post, but am hoping I could get a reply. I am getting a lot of conflicting information online about whether or not fermented foods (i.e. sauerkraut, water kefir, kombucha) are good for those of us with (most likely) candida overgrowth. I started doing all three about 3 weeks ago or so and have been feeling fairly well in terms of my endo symptoms (this comes after several months of a strict, no-sugar diet as well as other natural endo interventions). I HAVE started having some rectal itching at night (new) and my dizziness when standing up and mental fog got worse. Any idea whether this may be symptoms of die-off? Or any thoughts on why some yeasts are bad for candida but things like kombucha are supposedly good? I ferment both my kombucha and water kefir pretty much as long as possible (kombucha tastes fairly close to vinegar, and I ferment water kefir for 48 hours the first round and then let it “ripen” for another 48 hours before consumption).

    Many thanks,

    • It could certainly be die off. Itching around the rectal area could indicate worms – sorry. I would get onto a de-wormer or parasite cleanse protocol to make sure. Candida is only one of many options that could be going on. Any fermented foods will support your but bacteria which will ward off bacteria, funguses and worms. Look at anything that has wormwood, walnut hulls and cloves in it. This one could work: IHerbs Parasite cleanse.

  2. I definately believe that endo is candida/fungal related!! Now, let’s figure out how to get rid of those little guys for good!
